SAE Institute Students working for R-TV Rijnmond to capture the IFFR "Big Talk" talk shows

SAE Institute Rotterdam students are working as part of the crew for R-TV Rijnmond to capture the IFFR "Big Talk" talk shows.
Student Tarquin Hashim of our current Digital Film course is working as camera assistant, receiving instructions directly from the producer and director of the shows. Tarquin is responsible for grip and for operating the wide angle camera during the talk shows.
Students Christiaan Bos, Chris Thijssen, and Imre Beerends are working as audio assistants under the supervision of Andreas Oszkiel (Manager SAE Institute Rotterdam) to provide R-TV Rijnmond with all aspects of the audio recording. This includes wireless microphone systems for the guests with backup, live mixing for the audience on different PA systems, live mixing to camera, and track by track recording as backup.

SAE 2.0 crew provided the background for the talk shows. An edited moving image recording of atmospherical shots of the film festival was used to bring life to the set (our thanks to Pauline Fernandez, SAE Institute Amsterdam). The work of SAE 2.0 can be followed here.
